About
Tom Halligan is an artist from Long Beach, California. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Fine Art. After graduation, Tom worked at Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland, Paris drawing caricatures and cutting silhouettes. He then worked part-time painting Disney characters for custom art watches at Disneyland in Anaheim, California while beginning a full-time job as a graphic designer.
Tom has utilized his art, design and photography skills for advertising and marketing design during his 25+ year career in the media industry. While he enjoys the possibilities presented when creating art on the computer, Tom prefers the spontaneity and unexpected surprises that result when using traditional art mediums.
Tom enjoys creating bold, colorful impressionistic scenes from his hometown of Long Beach, surrounding areas throughout Southern California and beyond.
